About this deal

Four years after the events of last year’s Halloween Kills, Laurie is living with her granddaughter Allyson and is finishing writing her memoir. The first film was pretty good I thought, the first 20 mins of the 2nd film were also pretty good, the rest of the 2nd film and the whole of this film are just awful, really really bad, such a letdown. Plus as you say Mark, I don’t get the transfer from MM as inhuman killing machine to a wounded animal - all it would have taken is a new scene showing him bleeding at the start of Ends to indicate that he wasn’t invulnerable and was having to deal with something new. The more modern themes that each film has are indeed hugely relevant and should be expected to be played out across horror films produced in the 21 st century.

The forty-year journey of horror icon Laurie Strode and the original bogeyman Michael Myers ended with a terrifying whimper instead of the bang fans everywhere wanted and demanded. Surround usage is pleasing if not quite as omnipresent as it possibly could have been – the club scene is a perfect example of this, with the music being played locked firmly to the front soundstage, only bleeding into the rears and overheads when drama requires it to.narratively worthwhile, or universe building arc for him, never mind do anything to leave a lasting legacy on the franchise.

Authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority for consumer credit activities Firm Reference Number 656489. As mentioned, on its own, its an interesting film - a little too in love with its own history, but solid in its themes, cast and production. Clarity/Detail: Halloween Ends comes to 4K Ultra-HD Blu-ray with roughly the same quality as the previous 2 films, though this one has a rather more 70s look and feel to its aesthetic (Could be the editing and camera work too). But the character that gets the most care and attention, Corey, was introduced far too late in this franchise sub-trilogy. The first feature delivered an uneven but undeniably effective set-up for a final battle, but 2021’s “Halloween Kills” (also hit with creative issues) disrupted the mission, with Green trying to inflate a simple idea of ca .It was quite a bold approach to the final entry in the trilogy and is not what you'd expect it to be. Hair is fine and clearly delineated, while skin pores and fine lines are clear, while clothing has subtle yet obvious differentials in their overall texture. The horror landscape has undoubtedly evolved since 1978 and while there are still plenty of films produced with no greater purpose or idea other than to provide the audience with a good time, there’s also a new batch that can successfully weave greater throughlines of thematic resonance into their traditional storylines and produce works of greater interest.
